Insurance and Homeowner Appraisals

Appraisal and Umpire Service

A Licensed pubic adjuster is licensed by Minnesota to gather information about a claim on your behalf to reach a settlement on a property claim. This can include buildings, personal property, vehicles, loss of income or business and living expenses.

As an umpire, the entire claim is reviewed to make an objective decision regarding the value of your property or the amount of damage.

Experience

40+ years as a project manager for a top construction firm coupled with extensive knowledge of insurance policy & claim process allows me the ability to assess property damage and prepare the necessary documentation needed to discuss a settlement with confidence. Having an knowledgable Umpire helps homeowners navigate towards a mutual agreement with their insurance provider, alleviating stress for both parties.

I will do what I can to get to these ASAP.
I will handle the rest of the claim process.

FAQs

  • You can ask them to provide you an estimate, but DO NOT sign any contract until we have determined the amount of money that you will have available.

  • Most people feel the urge to call their insurance agent multiple times through the process. In reality your agent is not involved in the claim process. You will be dealing with the claim department and adjusters. Your agent will contact you after the claim department contacts them.

  • It’s a good idea to store important information like an emergency credit card, digital pictures of your belongings, receipts for large purchases and your insurance information – policy number and agent name.
